While some similar cases have led to larger payments, from $13 million to $38 million, some of them have only been translated into litigation after years. In contrast, the Louisville agreement was reached in just a few months. The deal would be one of the highest payments of its kind in a police murder in years. The Friedrich Althoff Consortium (FAK), the Regional Consortium for Berlin and Brandenburg, offers participating institutions an updated API allocation for all Taylor – Francis Open Select (Hybrid) magazines. Humboldt University in Berlin and Potsdam University are already part of this agreement, so please talk to your librarian if you live in any of these institutions. Correspondent authors of institutions participating in the Bibsam consortium can now publish Open Access in Taylor – Francis Open Select (Hybrid) magazines without having to pay an APC. This three-year “Read-Publish” agreement covers the cost of publishing in open access for articles by Ohio State authors in Taylor and Francis magazines. Under this agreement, the authors concerned can apply for funding from participating Austrian institutions, including those with the support of the Scientific Fund (FWF), for the publication costs of the Open Access in Taylor – Francis Open Select (hybrid journal). We work with institutions and funders around the world to help researchers publish Gold Open Access in their selected magazines. These agreements may mean that individual authors can benefit from a reduced publication fee for articles (APCs) or publish open access for free for themselves. Articles containing authors, based in Dutch universities and university medicine centres, are now published in the journals Taylor -Francis and Routledge Open Select (hybrid). Researchers automatically get more details about the VSNU agreement when their paper, reviewed by experts, is adopted for publication. A number of individual institutions are working with Taylor-Francis to provide funding to authors who wish to publish Open Access.
